The Seed Rack Experience.
Creating a portal for brand discovery and connection.
The Challenge
The old rack lacked presence, blending into the background when surrounded by it’s competitors. There were functional problems as well. The bottom rows made it difficult for customers to shop. There was significant limitations to the number of products, no interaction with customers as they shop, and no brand story introducing Territorial as a company.
Our Solution
We needed to create a seed rack that would stand out from competitor displays and invite audiences to lean in and discover more about the brand. More than another rack, we wanted to create a shopping experience that gave gardeners confidence and made them see Territorial Seed as an integral partner in their own seasonal garden.
Mood Board
Inspiration for the new seed rack was drawn from natural wood textures found on fruit crates and displays in higher-end organic produce shops. Territorial Seed is a premium product and their rack should not only look high quality but also reflect their home grown, friendly nature.
Design
Structure
Finding the right structure while staying in budget was a challenge but we were determined to create something that encouraged people to physically lean in, so people browsing the display felt surrounded by the Territorial brand.
Products
Displaying as many varieties as possible without overwhelming customers, and being mindful about how to collect varieties together were important considerations in layout and product placement.

We worked with display building experts at Infinity Images to bring our vision to life.
