Nicor Energy

Northern Illinois Gas Company serves the Chicagoland area and parts of Northern Indiana. A full rebrand included full quant and qual research of  both business and home customers, message mapping, identity and logos, and a successful paid media launch to accelerate market growth. Messaging was executed against seven business audiences and three home audiences under the new Nicor name with the brand theme, ‘Make Yourself Comfortable’. Average customer acquisition improved by 8% Year-Over-Year for the first three years after the new brand effort.  

NRG Energy

With an increase of 21% in unique website visitors during the first three months, NRG recorded the highest visitor count of the year with over 128,000 unique visitors. Their sales funnel also shows a 400% increase in only two months along with 300% growth in new business customers.

Xcel Energy

New messaging and a fresh approach to explaining why Xcel Energy is so reliable. Stories explained how the technology and lines aren’t all that makes Xcel so reliable, it’s  the it’s 24/7 commitment of the people in the field willing to dig holes and go up on power poles and cut debris to ensure our families and companies are up and running and comfortable. As the industry was being deregulated, customer retention reached a near all-time high during the campaign. 

Powerfield

We created the Go To Market strategy and  brand from inception through successful launch..PowerField’s new form of solar deployment, a racking system, enables solar to be positioned anywhere there is land. The racks dramatically reduce installation costs,  are a scalable solution for farmers with fallow land, and for consumers with yards. The portability enables owners to take PowerField racks with them should they relocate. Through value proposition development for each sub-market, customer acquisition efforts, Site Development and SEO, and storytelling of successes, PowerField launched and became profitable.

Sunstream

Most Africans have at least one cell phone but lack access to reliable energy. SunStream is a patented hand-held solar charger made with only five components: a USB, windshield grade glass, a top mineral, carbon fiber, and photovoltaic cells. SunStream launched in Africa selling 40 million units. The brand was quickly adopted in 7 countries and 16 languages. SunStream was acquired in 2019.
